The MacKillop Cross enters Victoria

The Cross proceeded to Sacred Heart Church at Wodonga for the official start of the Victorian leg of the Pilgrimage. It was escorted into the church for the Liturgy that was conducted by Fr. Denis Crameri. assisted by Fr. Jake Mudge.
A pictorial presentation was prepared by the Liturgy team headed by Seminarian, Bernie Augustines.
Amongst those present in the congregation was Fr. Paul Purcell, Sister Imelda, Sophie Mirabella, the Federal Member, Sister Ita of the Josephite Order (aged 92) who gave a wonderful address to the congregation on the life of Blessed Mary MacKillop. Whilst the rain may have dampened the earth it certainly did not dampen the strong spirit and vibrancy in the church.
